Treat yourself to an alpaca duvet.
Alpaca duvets are:  dust-mite free,  hypo-allergenic,  breathable, lanolin free,  environmentally friendly, 100% organically grown and fire resistant.

Follow these simple cleaning instructions and your duvet will last you a life time.

  • Soak in lukewarm water with Eucalan and spin water out.
  • Hang to dry.
  • Do not agitate in washing machine.
  • Do not place in dryer.

Early 2016 Course line-up

Course Line-up for early 2016
  • Jan. 9th: Spinning Art Yarn 
  • Jan. 10th: Fibrescape (minimum 4/reserve your spot before Jan. 3rd)
  • Jan. 30th: Felting a Fashionable Hat (reserve your spot before January 12th and you will need to choose your fibre colours by that date) Once you register, I will give you the website so that you can choose your colours.
  • February 27th: East Indian Cooking with Roshan
  • March 5th: Alpaca Tracks is hosting a Permaculture Seminar 
    (As our presenter is from the State of Washington, we will need to have our minimum number of 15 participants registered by January 30th.
  • March 12th, 13th and 14th: 3 Day Knitting Machine Course (registration deadline: February 25th)
The spinning art yarn course is full. All the other courses will depend on whether or not we get the minimum number of people registered by the registration deadline.
    We also offer courses in soap, dryer ball, mitten and slipper felting. If you have a minimum of four people, you can book a mutually convenient date. Have you ever wondered how a knitting machine works?
Spend some time "playing" with a knitting machine, taking advantage of what the machine does best, to produce interesting and creative fabric for garments, scarves, shawls, etc. This class is suitable to anyone who wants to explore a knitting machines' many capabilities.You will explore basic techniques for casting on and off, hems, edges, hand manipulated lace and long stitch on an LK150 knitting machine (supplied). You are encouraged to create one finished item in this class. We will have alpaca yarn on cones available to purchase or you can bring your own yarn for your final project.

Price: $95.00 per day x 3 = $285.00 +HST. This includes coffee, tea and lunch.
